Peri/Pieri - Fire Emblem Fates (2016)

One of the more challenging parts of this costume was actually patterning the bonnet (pictures at bottom). Her bonnet not only covers the back of her head and buttons around her neck, but also goes just right in front of her ponytails and is in strips as well. This took a lot of trial and error on a foam head but I ended up very happy with the result. Her blouse is in a similar pattern, and the sleeves are a bell shape but in strips as well though it’s not super noticeable under her armor. All of the armor was patterned from scratch. Most of the armor is either 4mm or 6mm EVA foam, with both shoulder pieces being covered in a thermoplastic to help with some of the seam lines. The wig was created with 2 different ponytails spliced together in order to create the blue to pink look.
