Commander Shepard - Mass Effect 3 (2017)

This costume is primarily made of 2 mm, 4mm, and 6mm EVA foam. The bodysuit is sewn with a custom printed spandex fabric with a weave texture from the in-game files of Shepard’s undersuit for accuracy. Some of the foam is painted and weathered with obsidian rustoleum paint while other pieces are covered in a carbon fiber car vinyl in order to imitate the same carbon fiber look that the armor has in game. The gun was 3D printed from my Miranda Lawson cosplay many years ago and has stood up since then. A few of the thinner pieces like the finger armor and toe covers are thermoplastic so that they can take a bit more of a beating. The entire chest piece comes together with velcro in the back and the back panel hides that, and also hides the LEDs and switch inside the back.
