Torbjorn - Overwatch (2018)

This costume is primarily made of 2mm, 6mm, and 10mm EVA foam. The turret is attached to a lazy susan powered by a small motor so that when turned on it can rotate back and forth. I wanted to add a small laser pointer to it as well like in the game, but it was against safety protocol for the convention, understandably. Everything was patterned out on paper and then transferred to the foam, some of it I streamed on Twitch in anticipation for the con. The turret comes apart to make for easy storage and travel. My favorite part of this build was honestly the weathering! It was a lot of fun doing all the grease smeared on everything and getting to go wild with that.
